Hmm: 

pkgsrc-users@ may be more appropriate, don't know.

What does "pkg_info -B or -n or -N" reveal?

What is your exact "uname -a" output?  If you're running only a slightly
different revisions (pre-release, stable build, patch release) then the
uname mismatch may confuse the logic.
