Hello,

I am trying to use pim6sd at a gif interface. With physical interfaces and
vlan interfaces all works well, but when I try to enable pim6sd at a gif
interface pim6sd exits with the message:

Feb 25 17:00:27 gate pim6sd[11185]: pim6sd version 2.1.0-alpha23 starting
Feb 25 17:00:27 gate pim6sd[11185]: setsockopt MRT6_ADD_MIF on mif 2:
Invalid argument

Is it a bug or is it not allowed to enable pim at gif interfaces?

Thank you for your efforts
Uwe
