My system does not use ac97.
I tried to record spdif input using audiorecord utility, but it seems that
this utility does not support spdif input (it expects to get a line, mic or
internal-cd), do you know of any other utility that I can use to record
spdif inputs (I'm working on an embedded system).

Thanks.
