I just saw that Juraj Hercek did a very interesting [1]est-patch a few
months ago and I wanted to ask, if this piece of code is going to find
its way into current?

[2]Undervolting did a great job for me and my two notebooks -- battery-
and fan-wise. It also never caused any stability-issues.
