I'd rather make the "recording" first, then play the programme:

	$ ftp -o researchfile-$(date +%Y%M%d).mp3 http://download.omroep.nl/rnw/sm=
ac/en_researchfile.mp3
	$ mpg123 researchfile-$(date +%Y%M%d).mp3

I've yet to find any "streaming" audio source (in any format that I'd be
bothered to want to play, anyway) which I can't download first and play
later.
