Hi,
Well, I'm learning NetBSD. I installed it several dozen times but I was too=
lazy to download the basic set of applications (mplayer within them) every=
time I needed them via pkg_add so I had saved them to another disk. I'm no=
t sure but I got the mplayer in binary form. All the files I ls-ed in /var/=
db/pkg then I got them with the help of wget.
There was a time I compiled all of them but I do not remember I made tgz bi=
naries for it. It had to be in binary form.
Regards,
pp
