Careful here: a PS/2 keyboard isn't hot-pluggable and just pulling it out
could well result in hardware damage.  Older PC cases often had a keyswitch
on the front panel to disable the keyboard which was ideal in situations
like this, though sadly they seem to have fallen out of favour now.

Another alternative would be simply to move the keyboard - rest it on its
side by the machine or put it in a drawer or on a shelf - whatever is
within the range of your keyboard lead.
