This didn'T make it.
I made the change but still the same.
To be sure I removed and reinstalled both tightvnc and pekwm, cleaning all
conf file I could find for them. Also restarted all ssh process. Killed
all old process.
Still the same.
Finally I rebooted (for something different) and... it works. That will be
a mystery.
BTW, do you recommend to keep up to date with the X source tree or just
keep thre default one from 3.0
