The first time I received my Thinkpad X30 it was filled with a strange operating
system, with an interface that looked like some Playskool thing. Hopefully,
a friend had a USB floppy disk so I have been able to install NetBSD there :)

The "modern OS" part is a bit difficult to understand. I guess you mean NetBSD
but why use such a convoluted way of saying it ? ;)
