Subject: Seeing alot of "Stale utmpx entry: [user] smb/7" with Samba's utmp

I'm not sure how harmless / harmful these are, but I am seeing the 
following with Samba's utmp option enabled:

Also something to note, is that every single entry which has garbage 
after the end is from a Windows XP client, users from 2000 clients don't 
have the garbage on the end, but obviously still leave these stale entries.

Known bug? Cause for concern? Also, is there any way to remove this 
stale entries without rebooting?
