That's a big hint in itself. But what program's pid, "/etc/security"
itself? The number(s) are very large for my system. Even apache
instances almost never go that high.
Race condition? Don't know about that, but it doesn't sound good.
Since I'm still running 1.6.1, it's probably not worth looking into.
