Hi (stupid newbie warning ahead),

I just installed 3.0 (from the disks Hubert set up) into a VMWare
Workstation machine, using a host only network.

Most operating systems I've installed this way seem to pick up an address
for the pcn0 adapter, but not in this case.

My XP host says it has VMNet8 on 192.168.157.1 and VMNet1 on 192.168.153.1.

I've tried 'ifconfig pcn0 up 192.168.153.2' (and ...157.2) but having done
those, which I can ping the address I just used, I can't ping my main host.

Is it straightforward to set this up?
