   Well, wadd'ya know.. Provided that contains Lynx, that's exactly what
I would have needed. Next time perhaps I shouldn't be so quick to
download distributions.

   Although that may be one problem less for sparc, i386 and amd64, I
imagine the problem could still exist for other platforms.

   FWIW, I have changed my mind regarding Lynx in base. I agree that
base should be slimmed down to a minimal. But at the same time there
needs to be basic tools to get up and running on the installation iso
(in whatever form it comes; I prefer pkgs myself). IMHO.
