Does anyone know if the boot problem introduced a while back that prevented
booting on some models of C3 chip has been fixed on mailline or whatever?

Could I use grub to boot NetBSD?

I have the 3.0 CDs.  I *don't* have a 1.6x system.  But I can prepare an
image on a 1GB CF card in my protable unde VMWare, it that helps.
