how can I get man not to use the cat preformatted versions without
manually editing the man.conf file (and without using a custom man.conf
file)?
Is there some switch to do this? I tried various, but didn't see any
examples.
I want to look at fd(4) for example.
$ man -w fd
/usr/share/man//cat4/fd.0
/usr/share/man//man4/fd.4
I do not want to read the cat4 version hopefully by using some man command
line switch.
