2009.  For about $110, I took the plunge.

I have great faith (tm) that by the time the big roll-out happens,  
for the USA at least, all cards will have such restrictive DRM that  
there will be little point in trying to capture on the fly. I'd love  
to be wrong, but I don't see any signs of the corps. that run our  
politicians losing control here,  yet.
