Hello,
I'm using NetBSD/i386 3.0.
Sometimes I find time to play some OpenTTD. It's a good way to relax
when I'm not studying.
A few days ago OpenTTD worked fine. But after I ran a few updates
(security issues with "sudo" and "poppler"), OpenTTD runs *very* slow
(actually, the graphics). "poppler" seemed to upgrade half of GNOME.
To see if anything else is affected, I tried running mplayer, and
sure enough, something has changed. Some movies I have that previously
worked well, no longer work when I run "mplayer <filename>" (mplayer
crashes). However, if I change that to "mplayer -vo sdl <filename>" they
work.
Before I start putting a lot of time into investigating this.. Does
anyone know what could have caused it to happen?
I did try to rebuild mplayer and OpenTTD, but it did not improve the
situation.
