Is there a way to set up a dhcpd server on a system that is not my DNS
server that will serve up an address/hostname that is listed on my DNS
server.

The parameter "ddns-update-style" does not give me a lot of confidence.

I have never used dhcp as I have 32 static addresses, but I need to set
up a work laptop that is configured to use dhcp.
