I see the code is described as pretty stagnant (though I can't remember where I 
saw the reference). There seems to be some regression here, should it be 
enabled by default in GENERIC?

Finally got a dump and a kernel (compiled with -g). Can you (or 
someone willing to look at it) contact me off-list and I'll arrange a place to put it?

In the meantime, I'll run without netccitt.
