I installed xmms 1.2.10nb5 on NetBSD 3.0_BETA on a dual-CPU amd64
system.

By default the output goes to ossaudio. The mixer did not work. Not
even when set to control master rather than PCM.

I tried changing it to the BSD/Sun driver. It works, but the volume
changes randomly and independantly in the left and right channels. The
mixer settings do not change. xmms is using slinear_be, even though
this is an emulated encoding on this hardware. I suspect aurateconv,
but apparently xmms is not smart enough to stick to native encodings.

Is anyone else successfully using xmms on NetBSD/amd64 3.0?
