Hi,
I use to start this little script manually or from my
.profile

#!/bin/ksh
i=0;
while true;
echo $i;
do sleep 120;
(( i += 2 ));
done

This works for me, even if the server part does not
have x installed. My timeout is 2 minutes due som FW
configurations.
