In my experience, you can delete it, though you'll find little things
all over that need fixing, such as having to specify XauthLocation in /
etc/ssh/ssh*config. You'll also have to rebuild all of your X-using
packages, and set X11_TYPE=xorg in mk.conf. I found that acroread
wouldn't work until I did some weird stuff. Etc. You can always
create a symlink /usr/X11R6 pointing to /usr/pkg/xorg.
