Hello,

smartd just told me this on a box I have with a RAID 1 mirror :

Aug 18 04:03:47 mail smartd[242]: Device: /dev/wd0d, SMART Prefailure
Attribute:
  8 Seek_Time_Performance changed from 250 to 251
Aug 18 04:03:47 mail smartd[242]: Device: /dev/wd1d, 1 Currently
unreadable (pending) sectors
Aug 18 04:03:47 mail smartd[242]: Sending warning via mail to
carl@bl.echidna.id.au ...
Aug 18 04:04:08 mail smartd[242]: Warning via mail to
carl@bl.echidna.id.au: successful
Aug 18 04:04:08 mail smartd[242]: Device: /dev/wd1d, SMART Prefailure
Attribute:
  8 Seek_Time_Performance changed from 250 to 251
Aug 18 04:04:08 mail smartd[242]: Device: /dev/wd1d, ATA error count
increased from 0 to 6

Is that something to worry about or a minor thing that the
disk will just take care of?

Thanks!

Carl
