I am having difficulty with this package when my backups run over a single
tape. I am using a HP SureStore DAT24x6 changer. I have a daily backup
configuration that fits on a single tape, that has worked fine for a couple
of months. My new monthly backup (forced level 0, no record etc.)
configuration is > 1 tape, and it fails to write anything to the 2nd tape
(runtapes 5).

I have been unable to get postings on the amanda-users list for some reason
(as are many others) so I am trying here while I try and get that worked
out.

I am using the 2.4.4p4 package from NetBSD packages.

The last dump is greater than my holding disk size, but less than a full
tape in size. It tries dumping this directly to tape on the end of the first
tape (which has all the other paritions on it). This fails because the other
paritions are using 1/2+ of the 1st tape. It does report it will retry when
the first dump fails, it does mount the 2nd tape in the changer and labels
it with the current date, it never dumps to it.

I see a few people on the list use Amanda, with the changer I have. Has
anyone ever seen this before ? I have full logs if anyone can read them. The
only clue I have is the error report for the first dump. "nctimonthly000"
was the first tape. "nctimonthly001" is the 2nd tape.
