hi all,
I'm using NetBSD 2.0 / i386. i'm trying to test some bt878 video
capture cards with vic. i'm having four capture cards recognized as
follows (snipped from dmesg):
.....
.....
bktr0 at pci0 dev 8 function 0
bktr0: interrupting at irq 11
bktr0: Hauppauge WinCast/TV, <no> tuner.
Brooktree Bt878 Video Capture (Audio Section) (miscellaneous
multimedia, revision 0x11) at pci0 dev 8 function 1 not configured
bktr1 at pci0 dev 9 function 0
bktr1: interrupting at irq 11
bktr1: Hauppauge WinCast/TV, <no> tuner.
Brooktree Bt878 Video Capture (Audio Section) (miscellaneous
multimedia, revision 0x11) at pci0 dev 9 function 1 not configured
bktr2 at pci0 dev 10 function 0
bktr2: interrupting at irq 11
bktr2: Hauppauge WinCast/TV, <no> tuner.
Brooktree Bt878 Video Capture (Audio Section) (miscellaneous
multimedia, revision 0x11) at pci0 dev 10 function 1 not configured
bktr3 at pci0 dev 11 function 0
bktr3: interrupting at irq 5
bktr3: Hauppauge WinCast/TV, <no> tuner.
Brooktree Bt878 Video Capture (Audio Section) (miscellaneous
multimedia, revision 0x11) at pci0 dev 11 function 1 not configured
....
....
i installed vic and fxtv packages to test these capture cards. fxtv
shows a video feed when a camera is connected. whereas vic does not
show any thing, it just sits there saying "Waiting for video", and in
the menu options for vic the transmit button is also disabled. I was
wondering if anybody had this working, and if i'mm missing something
here. Need help.
Cheers
Pritesh.
