1.) Make sure you have got this line in your kernel configuration:

uscanner* at uhub? port ?

2.) Comment out this line in "/usr/pkg/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf":

device auto

3.) Add these lines to the same file:

[usb] 0x04b8 0x011d
device /dev/uscanner0

4.) Use "make install" in "pkgsrc/graphics/xsane".

5.) Run "xsane".
