Hello all,
I get this:
===> Required package xpm>=3.4knb4: NOT found
===> Verifying reinstall for ../../graphics/xpm
===> Checking for vulnerabilities in xpm-3.4knb4
=> Checksum SHA1 OK for xpm-3.4k.tar.gz.
=> Checksum RMD160 OK for xpm-3.4k.tar.gz.
===> Extracting for xpm-3.4knb4
===> Required package xpkgwedge>=1.14: NOT found
===> Verifying reinstall for ../../pkgtools/xpkgwedge
===> Checking for vulnerabilities in xpkgwedge-1.14
===> Extracting for xpkgwedge-1.14
===> Required package x11-links>=0.25: NOT found
===> Verifying reinstall for ../../pkgtools/x11-links
===> x11-links-0.25 requires X headers to be installed
*** Error code 1
..when I try to build emacs. Since I'm never going to use X on this
particular system, I didn't install X.. And installing the X headers to
compile a console mode application seems pointless. (?)
Am I *absolutely* required to install the X headers to install emacs,
or is there a way around it?
Thankful for any hints or tips.
