Hi,

I'm trying to watch tv using a tv card and xawtv. There exist a scantv 
utility from xawtv package, which can ``scan a v4l device for TV 
stations''. This is exactly what I need. Unfortunately scantv requires a 
vbi library ( http://freshmeat.net/projects/libzvbi/ ), which is not 
available in pgksrc.

So is there another easy way how to scan for TV stations?

I also experienced this behaviour:
