I frequently use Print to file with firefox under NetBSD/i386
1.6.2_STABLE. I just tried again and it works fine for me with
firefox-gtk2-0.10.1.

Also, direct printing works fine for me under Linux with
pkgsrc package firefox-gtk2-1.0nb2.
