Hello,

I'm trying to work out why my /etc/rc.d/spamd isn't
restarting spamd (spamassassin from current pkgsrc)

mail: {35} ./spamd status
spamd is not running.

mail: {36} ./spamd restart
spamd not running? (check /var/run/spamd.pid).

mail: {37} more /var/run/spamd.pid
8770

mail: {39} ps -auxww | grep spamd
root 8770 0.0 0.0 23068 4 ?? IWs Tue09AM 0:02.18 perl:

As you can see, spamd is running, and has the PID as listed in
/var/run/spamd.pid

Before I send-pr this, has anyone seen it before and knows what
may be misbehaving, or what I've possibly done wrong?

thanks!
