I used to have gentoo + mythtv,
but i replaced that with knoppmyth,
http://mysettopbox.tv/knoppmyth.html,
a distro based on debian.
I have a project running this on windows too with a
free software called gbpvr, http://www.gbpvr.com/.

The linux distro is smooth but the windowx thing is
ahead in quality....
