I have a user with a large (500GB) firewire drive which is failing and
we want to copy off the data onto something else ... unfortunately I
can't connect to my NetBSD system because of various unresolved firewire
issues, so I was wondering if I could find a copy of pax which would
work as a standalone binary in the Windows command-line environment on
his machine ...

Does such a thing exist? I'm specifically looking for pax's -r -w
switches, in order to copy between two local directories as I have had
very good success doing this on a box after booting with a NetBSD CD ...
