Hello
I downloaded
/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-release-2-0/tar_files/src/sys.tar.gz
from ftp.netbsd.org
To recompile a 2.0 kernel:
# uname -a
NetBSD GATEWAY 2.0 NetBSD 2.0 (GENERIC) #0: Wed Dec 1 10:58:25 UTC
2004 builds@build:/big/builds/ab/netbsd-2-0-RELEASE/i386/200411300000Z-obj/big/builds/ab/netbsd-2-0-RELEASE/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC
i386
However the src appears to be for NetBSD 2.0_BETA and therefore
doesn't work with the release version which I installed for iso. dmesg
didn't match kernel entries, and even when I managed to bypass this
there were user/kernel conflicts.
Where can I find the sys source for my kernel? I just installed from iso.
Or am I doing something else wrong?
Thanks,
Amadeus
