There was a thread about this back in December but I didn't see any 
resolution...

In any case, over the last few days whenever I've tried a 'cvs update 
-Pd' in my pkgsrc directory I get the following:

ssh: connect to host anoncvs.netbsd.org port 22: Connection refused
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages 
if any)

Any idea(s) what the problem is?
