I can't find any 'official' information about NetBSD support for adaptec 
79xx chipsets. As mentioned here:

``Pascal also ported the ahd driver, for Adaptec 79xx chipsets (U320), 
which I will be integrating shortly.''

It's been quite a while ago, so do you now what's the status of porting 
FreeBSD's ahd now?
