Hi,

I have laptops connected with wireless/IPsec.
The server has MTU set to 1500.
It seems setting laptop's MTU to 1400 makes quicker/better connection.
I'm wondering if I can tune more.

* I tried using "ping -D -s XXXX gateway" with several other values
  but 1400 seems to give the bettre ping (~3ms).
  would there be a better value that I missed ?
  or some other IP setting ?
* does IPsec slow traffic ? I mean, the wifi connection is 54Mbps but
  FTP transfer don't go quicker than 1.2MB/s
