Hello everybody,

after some emailling with the author of an rfc2228 (ssl'ed ftp) implementation,
he got a patched version of his programm running on NetBSD 1.6.2.

He asked me to test it, but I am away tommorrow, and it would be great in 
general if a wider range of people could test it somehow.

Sorry if that is the wrong list for stuff like this ;).

I uploaded both packages + a README with a few tips to a sf.net project space
totally unrelated to this:

If you are interested to have such a ftp client for NetBSD, try it.
