I installed sysutils/xfm (X File manager) from pkgsrc. When I try and 
run it, a dialog box pops up with the fowing mesage:

Sorry: Appl. Defaults Not Found
check XFILESEARCHPATH and friends

there doesen't seem to be an XFILESEARCHPATH variable on my system
