can it be done?

for now

1) ping6 -s 10000 (or more) from outside to NetBSD machine connected by
gif interface will crash NetBSD box quite soon...

2) MTU negotiation doesn't work right. gif has 1280 MTU, ethernet and
ppp 1500 so you for eg. can't send long mail to machine with gif. it
chokes.
