i think i could reproduce the error you are getting. Its most likely you=20
tried to put a file or directory tree without selecting the logical volume=
=20
you want to access. If you use udfclient on a disc, a single directory is=
=20
appearing with `ls'. This directory is the `root' directory of the volume.
Without first going into that directory you won't have selected a logical=
=20
volume to write on and thus get an `Invalid argument'.
It might sounds like a but extra bloat, but its to support multiple logical=
=20
volumes, spanning discs and multiple discs to be specified at the command=
=20
line.
Please let me know what your experiences are. Esp. with DVD-RW and DVD-RAM=
=20
since i haven't been able to test those media yet.
