Hi,

First problem:

Is there anyway to change the boot sequence in order to let named9 (from pkgsrc) to
run before ipfilter? In my /etc/ipf.conf, I prefer to use dns name instead of IP. In my
nbsd box I have bind9 and dhcp dynamic update, I want to use the dynamic name
during boot time. But the ipfilter always start before /etc/rc.d scripts as well as
/etc/rc.local
/etc/hosts file is not a preferred way as i have dynamic dns name.

Second problem:
In my netbsd 2.0 beta, /etc/ipnat.conf could not use name instead of numerics. eg. it
does not use dns name in /etc/hosts and bind and services name listed in
/etc/services. I have to use ip address and service port numbers.
This is not happened when I was using netbsd 1.6.2

Please advise. Thank you.

Joe Lim
