Hi,

What's the trick to make mplayer and gmplayer play avi files
smoothly under NetBSD 2.0beta? I have tried two or three video
boards (including Radeon 7000 and Radeon 9200) and with all of
them, the frame rate seems to fluctuate so that smooth movement
in the file looks .. non-smooth ;)

I tried all the video drivers available in mplayer and they were
all the same (well, the ones that worked, that is).

I'm using an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ and less than 5% of CPU is in
use, so I'm expecting better results..

(Also, I still can't make fxtv use direct video (which worked with
an old matrox G200 gfx board) and I can't figure out why.. Radeon
9200 didn't help with this problem.)

Any ideas?
