If you have another hard drive which the bios recignizes which can be
placed as the
primary master, NetBSD once booted from it should be able to use your
larger drives even
if your BIOS does not support such large hard drives I beleive.

There should be no problem with 4.2BSD partitions using FFS with UFS2
(I however am not
sure, but UFS2 might only be available to 2.0 and -current users).
