Hello,

I just had one of my mirrored ide drives fail with this error...

rccide0:1:0:lost interrupt type: ata tc_bcount:8192 tc_skip:0
rccide0:1:0:bus_master DMA error:missing interrupt status=0x21

... this caused the system to hang.

Is there a way to tell if this is a hardware problem or a kernel
problem? I'm running 2.0G. This disk is part of a raid 1 set. Right now
I'm running just on the other disk (wd0). All the components on this one
(wd1) are failed.

NetBSD 2.0G NetBSD 2.0G (GENERIC.MP) #7: Fri Jul 2 18:26:58 EDT 2004 i386

The disk was reliable up until the new kernel.

Any help would be most appreciated. Let me know if I can provide more
information.

Louis
