| Tried this... I tried both the ids 1000 (ESCALADE) & 1001 (ESCALADE_ASIC).
|
| On boot the driver reported:
|
| Jun 29 15:28:47 net20 /netbsd: twe0 at pci2 dev 10 function 0: 3ware Escalade
| Jun 29 15:28:47 net20 /netbsd: twe0: interrupting at irq 11
| Jun 29 15:28:47 net20 /netbsd: twe0: reset not reported
| Jun 29 15:28:47 net20 /netbsd: twe0: reset failed
|
| Does this imply that there is no simple kernel modification to support the
| escalade 9000 series ?
| If so, are there any immediate plans to include the 9000 series ?
|
| Thanks

It means that the hardware is different and someone will need to modify
the driver or write a new driver depending on how different they are.
I don't know how different they are.
