Hi,

I tried RAID5 configuration couple of days ago and writing to the (logical)
disk seemed to be very slow (few megs or so). Then I tested RAID10 just to
see if there's something wrong in our (new) hardware but it seemed to be ok.
(with RAID10 bonnie++ gives about 40 MB write throughput).

Has anyone else tried mentioned configuration (3ware Escalade 8506-4LP with
RAID5)? Suggested stripe size and filesystem parameters? Any ideas?

PS. attached dmesg is with RAID10 configuration (as you can see).
