Hello,
my server running NetBSD 2.0_BETA4 seems to have a very high basic load
for no good reason. Here is what "top" says:
load averages: 1.43, 1.27, 1.17 11:16:43
123 processes: 2 runnable, 120 sleeping, 1 on processor
CPU states: 0.0% user, 0.0% nice, 0.5% system, 0.5% interrupt, 99.0% idle
Memory: 586M Act, 145M Inact, 5124K Wired, 55M Exec, 431M File, 42M Free
Swap: 2560M Total, 36M Used, 2524M Free
I've also checked disk activity with "systat vm" and network activity
with "netstat -i". The system is really idleing most of the time. So
I wonder wether the load average calcuation works properly.
Kind regards
