I noticed that the binary installation offers to re-install/extract
tar sets.
Before I noticed this I did an upgrade. At least most (all?) fonts
are back and gkrellm and tkdiff run again.
After the upgrade I had to reinstall some packages which put files
below /usr/X11R6.
