I thought I would try this again in the later versions to see if they happened 
to have been fixed.

Testing with NetBSD-1.6.2
              NetBSD-current 2004/03/06

NFS to maxtor (quite old, should that matter?)

Created first vnd's of 1g, 5g and 200g files/fs. Initially it appears to work, 
but if you punish it (untar sys.tar.gz) and it will die.

trace: (typed by hand, so skipped some bits) :)
