dear group,
After i installed a DDS3 SDT 9000 12/24gb dat=20
Tape from sony i start with dump backup
but i need any parameters for "dump" i dont found=20
the right tape size parameters, and the manual from=20
sony tel me nothig about "blocksize, density, records"
its possible to save it the right tape size parameters
to the dump settings or to the kernel ?,

the option dump -d (density) from how i know it the exactly BPI ???
the option dump -b (blocksize) kb per dump ist this 12gb =3D (1200000)??
